Lacy Sock Tops by Claire Gregorcyk

I am not going to write out an entire sock pattern as I am sure you all have a favorite sock pattern that is now a no brainer.

This is just a simple idea for a very easy lace sock top:

CO multiples of 5 sts and do some k3, p2 ribbing for say 1 1/2 " then k1, YO, k2tog, p2 around and then k3, p2 around for the next 2 rows

next row you k2tog, YO, k1, p2 around and K3, p2 for the next 2 rows
Repeat

An easier variation is to CO multiples of 4 and do the k2,p2 ribbing. Then next row you k2tog, YO, p2 around and then the k2, p2 for 2 rows
Repeat

This patterning can be continued down the instep or halted at the ankle. Makes very impressive
looking socks very easily.

I am sure someone else has made these socks but I just re-invented them for what I call my van
knitting.
